Amazing.com has a well-established global community of tens of thousands of users, but its online community has become a disorganized and out-of-date experience. I acted as the design lead for creating a new desktop experience and a hybrid app for distribution on iOS and Android devices.
The first step of revamping the community was understanding how the users currently used the forum and what more we could offer them. To get to know the users, I did interviews, engaged with the community, and developed several user personas to help guide design decisions.
The next step was to update the architecture and work through the design with wireframes; ultimately moving into visual design, creating a UI that was intuitive and visually cohesive with the Amazing brand.
